What's new with my Sneakerhead fam? Who copped what? How are your collections prospering in the final months of 2019? Is anybody tuned in to Yeezy season and what has been happening the last couple of months? No? Well...allow me to shed some light to those in the dark. As most know, Kanye West turned to Christianity and decided to release his 11th studio album as a gospel one titled "Jesus Is King" accompanied by a motion picture that released October 25th, 2019
I have not had the opportunity to see the Kanye West film, but I have listened to the album.......and it is better than expected. I can not knock his God given talent or genius with music and composition. I was expecting a different approach, but I like the way he went about putting the album together and his release could not have come at a better time. It was the perfect introduction into "Yeezy Season". Yeezy season is when adidas does a huge release of Kanye West "Yeezy" branded shoes over a period of time. I am going to work a timeline of releases to give you a better idea of how Yeezy season hits:
10/25/19 - Album & Movie release
11/02/19 - Yeezy 500 "Soft Vision" release
11/07/19 - adidas surprise restock on select Yeezy styles
11/16/19 - Yeezy Boost 380 release
11/23/19 - Yeezy 500 "Stone" release
11/29/19 - Yeezy 350 V2 "Black" (Black Friday release)
12/14/19 - Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Yeezreel"
12/16/19 - Yeezy 500 High "Slate" release
12/18/19 - Yeezy 700 "Carbon Blue"
12/20/19 - Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Yecheli"
12/23/19 - Yeezy 700 "Azael"
As you can see Yeezy season is in full effect and that's how we will be ending the year. New Kanye West music and new Kanye West shoes. Dates get changed and kicks get postponed, so the dates given are not in stone (that rhymed.....bars), but for all of the Yeezy fans there is a variety of his kicks dropping in all models. Hopefully you beat the bots and score what you want. I personally do not wear Yeezy shoes but I am fond of the V2 boost, especially the "Pirate Black" boost. Maybe I'll try my luck this Black Friday....I doubt it though. But for those of you who are looking to score, I suggest downloading the adidas app and following Yeezy Supply on IG, Twitter & keeping an eye on their website....Thank me later.
As always cop heavy, keep em clean and the soles icy.
